|Jodi Arias's ex-cellmate, Cassandra Collins|
Last week while most Americans were enjoying their Thanksgiving dinner and watching football, we received some Jodi Arias-related news when an ex-cellmate of hers named Cassandra Collins said that Jodi allegedly threatened to have prosecutor Juan Martinez's throat slit if she was given the death penalty. Collins went on to say that Jodi would take out a "Mafia-style hit" on Martinez and have his throat cut. Naturally, the mainstream media bought this story from Collins and gave her instant credibility. This, in spite of the fact that this is all hearsay and there is ZERO evidence to prove that her claim is true.
My personal opinion is that Cassandra Collins wants to get her 15 minutes of fame and using her newfound freedom from jail to make some money and get some press. She continued to implicate Jodi Arias by saying "She asked me questions like 'why doesn't Juan Martinez love me?' And I'm like, love you? He's your prosecutor, he's there to prosecute you for a crime." Collins also said that Jodi "tried to manipulate every inmate there and tries to control how they think about her case. She'll try to suffocate you with her version and her side. When I got released out, I was like thank you God I got delivered out of hell."
I'm not buying any of the stuff that Cassandra Collins is saying about Jodi Arias. None of what she says about Jodi seems credible at all. I just can't imagine Jodi having any love or wanting any love from Juan Martinez. And as for this supposed threat of a "Mafia-style hit", puh-leaze. What was she going to do? Have someone cut off a horse's head and put it in the bed of Judge Stephens? Or make sure that Juan Martinez "sleeps with the fishes"? LOL
This scene from The Naked Gun pretty much sums it up:
